As part of our ongoing commitment to the Social pillar of our ESG strategy, we are proud to support initiatives that promote health, wellbeing, inclusion, and meaningful community engagement.
In November 2025, colleagues, friends, and family members came together to take part in our Movember Walk, raising awareness for Movember, the global charity dedicated to improving men’s health outcomes. Movember focuses on some of the most pressing challenges affecting men today, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.
Turning Awareness into Action
The walk was organised by Declan Goldie and Phil Thomas, both long-standing supporters and ambassadors for the Movember charity. Designed as a 10-mile, inclusive and social walk, the event took place simultaneously in Glasgow and London, symbolising unity, shared purpose, and collective responsibility.
Rather than focusing on speed or performance, the walk prioritised participation, conversation, and connection. It created a space where people could engage openly, support one another, and help normalise discussions around men’s health — an area where stigma still exists.
“A fantastic turnout, one of which Phil and I were proud of.”
— Declan Goldie
Creating Social Impact Beyond the Workplace
Men’s health is not only a personal issue — it is a societal one. Events like the Movember Walk align closely with our ESG objectives by encouraging open dialogue around mental health, supporting preventative health awareness, strengthening community and workplace connections, and demonstrating leadership-led participation in social causes.
Walking side by side fostered meaningful conversations that often don’t happen in traditional settings. These moments are at the heart of Movember’s mission: encouraging early intervention, mutual support, and healthier outcomes through awareness and action.
Our Commitment Going Forward
The Movember Walk 2025 was more than a single event — it was a reflection of our values in action. We believe organisations have a responsibility to support the wellbeing of their people and the wider communities they operate within.
We are proud of everyone who took part, supported the initiative, or helped amplify the message. As we continue to develop our ESG programme, we remain committed to initiatives that deliver real social impact and contribute to a healthier, more open, and more supportive society.
